Activities is a very broad area and forms the third leg of our educational philosophy in addition to academics and sports. One of the essentials of a good all-round education is the provision for plenty of opportunities for students to develop self-confidence, leadership qualities, personality, humility, care and concern for others. The School achieves this end through a programme of hobbies and Spare time Activities leading to the development of practical skills in handicrafts and industrial crafts. Each student spends at least two hours a week on any one hobby, which he/she may change after a year.

A programme is designed to awaken cultural awareness and the development of the aesthetic senses, through Art, Music, Drama, Quiz, Debate etc. Participation in various inter-school/inter-district/inter-state competitions such as debates, elocution contests, quizzes, dramatics is encouraged.

A programme of community service is designed to inculcate sensitivity to the plight of the less fortunate, ecological awareness and the dignity of labour. Students are encouraged to undertake social service activities in conjunction with their syllabus such as rural interaction, working with the mentally and physically challenged, working with the poor, making compost pits, campus gardening, tree-planting, paper recycling and waste management etc.

The creation of special interest groups and societies is based on current student and teacher interests, such as Astronomy, Wild Life, Scientific, Computing, Literacy, etc.

Visit are organized to educationally important area viz. research laboratories, institutes, industrial units, historical monuments, farms, stock exchanges. Talks are given by a wide range of eminent people nationally recognized in their respective fields.
