The school has a spacious playground to cater to the following:
The school provides an extensive sports & physical education programme.  The facilities include:-

One large playing fields for football, volleyball, badminton, and athletics.
Cricket pitches for  Cricket coaching.
Swimming Pool.
Gymnasium.
Table Tennis.
Carom etc.
 

Trained coaches render scientifically aided training in cricket, football etc. These coaches are on the lookout for promising talent from a very early age, in order to provide a carefully designed short and long term training regimen to bring out the very best in each individual. Swimming has been introduced for the students as a part of the curriculum and every class has been allotted one period per week.

An annual sports programme has been drawn up in conjunction with other schools to ensure that seasons for the respective sports coincide.  This will incorporate a calendar of dates for inter-house and inter-school competitions in each of the various sports, as well as friendly matches against local teams.

The school has a spacious canteen for students and staff. The lunch and snacks are provided with subsidized rates.  The school has Gym facility providing Yoga and Meditation for mental peace and physical fitness for the future generations.  This Gym would comprise of all the modern equipments and looked after by well-trained instructors.  The school also has a table-tennis room.

Soccer
Soccer is the most popular sport worldwide and it is not any different at our school. The Soccer activity will involve some coaching in the skills of the game as well as the opportunity to play in small group situations.  Soccer at MMIS not only emphasizes passing, heading, dribbling, shooting and tackling but also nurtures team spirit, a competitive outlook and sets an atmosphere for fun and fair play.
 
Basketball 
The second fastest growing game around the world is Basketball. A professional coach will look after the training programme. This activity will run for a semester to allow students time to develop their skills and to form a team for the inter-school competition.
               
Table Tennis
Table Tennis emphasizes all round development. We do this through a set of professional coaches who not only train the students in the skills but also work on their physical fitness and concentration.

Volleyball  
Volleyball is a popular sport where teams, separated by a high net, hit a ball back and forth between them. Alertness and vigilance are essential at every moment and at every step in this game. Professional coaches will be teaching the skills and game tactics.

Badminton   
Badminton was known in ancient times; an early form of sport played in ancient Greece and Egypt. Badminton came from a game called battledore and shuttlecock, in which two or more players keep a feathered shuttlecock in the air with small rackets. The game was called "Poona" in India during the 18th Century.

Chess Club                          
The school organized an inter-house chess competition last year. Students participated in large numbers and some of them performed extremely well.  This year we would like to train them and send them for various inter-school competitions.  Mr. Sanjay Thakurel, our chess expert, requires students who are serious. This activity will run for a semester to allow students time to develop their skills.

Gymnasium
Professional instructors will conduct this activity. Instructors have put together plates, weights, cardio & flexibility exercises mixed with fun and motivation to bring you a unique fitness programme. Instructors believe that the combination of training, exercise, diet and fun add up to a healthy mind and body. Instructors will be framing workout schedules individually, according to each student’s needs and ability.

Karate  
Karate is the best art of self-defense which involves strength, co-ordination, quick thinking and above all a healthy body. It is an activity where students learn to do their own defense mainly through the use of hand-to-hand combat. It also involves kicking and punching an opponent.            

Handball
Handball is a game for participants of all ages. Handball is a fast-paced game involving two teams of seven players who pass, throw, catch and dribble a small ball with their hands while trying to score goals. The team with the most goals wins the game. A game consists of two 30-min halves with a 10-min half time break. Men and women compete in separate events. The difference is that the men’s event features a 12-person team and the women’s features a 10-person team.

Swimming
Swimming is the complete exercise. At MMIS, under the guidance of professional coaches student will be taught the nuances of this sport.  Join us in the pool and show the prowess all you children of the water.

MMIS Newsletter “The Vision”
This is a student generated school magazine from which students will be able to express their views and report on major school events. This activity is a CAS activity and hopes to publish the magazine yearly.
 
Math Club
Let’s have fun with numbers. The mission of the Math Club is to promote enthusiasm and interest in mathematics. This is accomplished by exposing students to hitherto unexplored and exciting branches of math in a casual, friendly, and fun atmosphere.

School Yearbook
The yearbook is an annual school book to record, highlight, and commemorate the year gone by. Schools all over the world publish yearbooks but we at MMIS work with a difference. Student journalists, photographers, researchers record and print images as they happen all over the school and even beyond. It is an intense learning activity for the students, fun-driven and exciting as it deals with their own community. 

The Science Club
The Science Club fuels the wonder and joy of learning the intricacies of the varied world of Science through hands-on activities and fun projects. The students can explore Science as a branch of Knowledge that is both creative and challenging.
      
The Quiz Club
The Quiz  activity aims at enhancing the general awareness of middle school students and to prepare them for inter- house and inter-school quiz competitions .Each session will be based on a specific topic .At the end of the term , most areas of interest like Literature, sports, current affairs, environment , Science and brain teasers  could be covered .Students will also be involved in designing and organising quizzes .Once a month, a quiz competition will be conducted  by each group on the topic covered in that month An-end-of-the- semester quiz will be the culminating activity

The Debating Club
Learn the is a formal method of interactive and position representational argument. Debate is a broader form of argument than mere discussion. Though logical consistency, factual accuracy as well as some emotional appeal to audience are important elements of the art of persuasion, in debating, one side often prevails over the other side by presenting facts not only superior in quality but also in a way that is more acceptable.
